About Robert J. Cottle
Robert (Bob) Cottle has been a scholar of the Bible for over 60 years, having read, studied, and analysed God's Word extensively throughout his lifetime. What began as a discipline instilled at a young age grew into a lifelong passion for exploring the God he loves and serves.
Bob has been actively involved in church life from a young age, serving as a lay preacher and church deacon. Married for 40 years, Bob and his wife Julie live in Nelson, New Zealand, with three adult children and three grandchildren.
After a career in professional engineering and senior business management, Bob is now retired from full-time employment and devotes his time to writing Christian books. His desire is to pass on biblical understanding to fellow believers for the furtherance of God's work, with humility, clarity, and faithfulness to Scripture.
What Bob writes about
- End times: what Scripture actually says, without speculation or date-setting.
- The Kingdom of God: the Gospel Jesus preached.
- The authority of the Bible: why it is true and relevant today.
- Righteousness and spiritual fatherhood, explored through fiction.
- Christianity basics: a ten-module course for people new to faith.
Bob's books are published by Bellbird Books, Nelson, New Zealand.
